Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

  • Contact and business information, such as your name, company, job title, business email address, telephone number, mailing address, and communication preferences.
  • Logistics and service information, such as shipment requirements, lanes, facilities, equipment needs, timing, quotes, carrier or vendor details, and related business records.

  • Connected-service information, when an authorized user connects a third-party service, including account identifiers, profile or business information within the approved permissions, authentication tokens, and integration activity.

We may receive this information directly from you, your employer or organization, our customers and service partners, public business sources, and service providers you authorize.

SMS and mobile information

Mobile privacy promise

No mobile opt-in or text message consent will be shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We may provide information to messaging service providers solely as necessary to deliver and administer our text messaging program.

When you expressly consent to receive texts from Lucent Logistics, we may send conversational and informational messages about inquiries, quotes, shipments, appointments, support, or business relationships. We send promotional messages only when you separately provide the level of consent required by law.

  • Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing goods or services.
  • Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for assistance.
  • You may also request an opt-out by emailing info@lucent-logistics.com or calling 855-426-8657.

We record the source, date, time, method, and scope of SMS consent and opt-out activity where reasonably necessary for compliance. We honor opt-out requests and maintain suppression records to prevent further messages unless you later provide valid consent to resume them. See our SMS Terms for additional details.

LinkedIn and connected services

When an authorized Lucent user connects LinkedIn or another service to a Lucent application, we access only the information and permissions shown during authorization and reasonably necessary for the approved business purpose. Depending on the integration, this may include the authorized user's account identifier, basic profile or professional information, organization information, permitted business content, and OAuth or access tokens.

We use connected-service information to provide the requested integration, such as authenticating the user, supporting authorized relationship-management workflows, synchronizing permitted business information, and maintaining integration security. We do not sell LinkedIn content, use it to target advertising, generate unauthorized mass messages, or make it available to unrelated third parties.

LinkedIn information is collected when an authorized user connects or actively uses the integration, subject to the permissions and terms that apply. A user may withdraw authorization through the connected service or by contacting us. Upon a valid deletion request, account closure, disconnection where deletion is required, or termination of the integration, we delete applicable LinkedIn content and tokens unless retention is legally required. Material changes to the scope of access or use will be disclosed and, when required, presented for renewed consent.

How we disclose information

We may disclose personal information only as reasonably necessary to:

  • customers, carriers, facilities, vendors, and other logistics participants involved in a requested service;
  • hosting, communications, security, analytics, CRM, professional, and other service providers that process information for us under appropriate restrictions;
  • government authorities or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and security; or
  • a successor in a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of our business, subject to applicable law.

We do not sell personal information. We do not disclose personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. The mobile opt-in restrictions above apply regardless of any other provision in this policy.

Retention and deletion

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including to provide services, maintain business and suppression records, secure our systems, resolve disputes, and meet legal, accounting, and contractual obligations. Retention periods vary by the type of information, relationship, sensitivity, and applicable requirements.

Connected-service data is retained only as permitted by the applicable provider terms. Where selective deletion is required, we maintain it in a manner designed to identify and delete the applicable data. LinkedIn content and associated tokens are deleted upon a valid user request, account closure, or termination event when required by LinkedIn's terms, unless law requires otherwise.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including access controls, secure credential and secret handling, encryption in transit and where appropriate at rest, logging and monitoring, vulnerability management, and incident-response procedures. No system can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information; withdraw consent; disconnect a linked account; object to or restrict certain processing; or appeal a denied privacy request. We may need to verify your identity and authority before acting. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law.

To exercise a privacy right or request deletion of connected-service data, email info@lucent-logistics.com with the subject “Privacy Request.” To stop texts, reply STOP. You may manage cookies through your browser and use any cookie controls we make available.

Our services are business-to-business services and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If information is processed outside your state or country, we use safeguards required by applicable law. We may update this policy as our practices or requirements change and will post the revised effective date here.
